Standardizing

Nature can be unpredictable and in order to secure standard product quality for our customers we need to have readily available raw materials, along with high technical knowledge and suitable equipment. At Prodalim we have built a strong supply chain together with global laboratories that allows us to fulfill any technical specifications, and to secure quantities throughout the year regardless of natural and other unexpected events. Available in our standardized portfolio: NFC, concentrate, purees and bases.

Blending

With four blending facilities spread across the globe, we can manufacture and offer just-in-time delivery of stable, top quality product, all year round. Our solution drastically reduces our customers' complexities around quality assurance, storage, and working capital needs. Our portfolio of blends includes multifruit blends, citrus blends, tropical blends and blends with additional ingredients.

One of our main sites in Europe is located in Livorno Italy.

This 11,630 sqm site is fully equipped with blending capabilities, and has both ambient temperature warehouse and coldstores. Together with our two other blending sites in Europe (Rotterdam, Valencia), the three sites create a sophisticated logistics triangle that enables us to supply to our entire European customer base quickly and offer a buffer stock available within a few hours drive from our customers' factories.

The site is equipped with a microbiological laboratory and a physical-chemical laboratory.

Quality

For more than 45 years now our prime directive is 'Highest Quality of Fruit Juices and Fruit Juice Concentrates' and we have been and still are devotedly facing up to this challenge day by day.The foundation for our high quality products is already laid before purchasing. The raw materials are procured only from long-term growers and / or suppliers who are accredited by our quality assurance system.

Our in-house laboratory, in accordance with our quality manual, supervises the whole production process, starting with incoming raw materials to the finished fruit juice or fruit juice concentrate and further distribution to our customers. Additional reference analyses conducted by independent and accredited laboratories guarantee a consistently excellent quality. Beside our modern production plants our qualified and motivated staff members are a key success factor and warrantor of our permanent high level quality.We participate in the voluntary control system of the “Schutzgemeinschaft der Fruchtsaftindustrie” (SGF). The Rauner production is based on latest technology and follows food law requirements, quality and authenticity requirements of AIJN/CoP and hygiene requirements of SGF and IRMA. The conformity to our quality standards is approved on a regular basis by external audits and inspections .

Sustainability

Prodalim Rauner GmbH commits itself to go easy on resources during the whole production process of its fruit juices and fruit juice concentrates which are produced for the processing industry. It is our aim to minimize harmful effects on people and environment the best possible way and thus, together with our suppliers and customers, ensure long-term success with natural products. Raw materials are procured very carefully and thoroughly from selected, accredited and approved growers and suppliers. Modern and state-of-the-art processing technology ensures the high quality of our products. All these aspects together represent an essential linchpin for the production of our first class juices and juice concentrates. We support the three pillar policy of sustainable economic behaviour:

Logistic solutions: Storage, Distribution

An efficient and wide distribution network is a vital source of cost reduction. We serve customers in over 51 countries around the globe through a solid distribution network that includes direct shipment from Brazil and other origins and offer flexibility in determining the most suitable and financially wise distribution time and method from each of our warehouses in Europe. We provide custom-tailored packing methods to suit both small customers and large-scale ones. From BIB and drums, to bins, tankers and mixed containers, our storage and distribution methods are designed to match your needs, no matter where you are located or how big or small your operation might be.

R&D

Prodalim group has three in-house laboratories in Europe and one in Brazil, for routine product analysis, new product development and tightly controlled product quality. Our R&D department has the knowledge, experience and equipment to develop new formulas or replicate existing formulas for our customers in order to materialize our customers’ ideas and requirements. The European laboratories are located in: Valencia, Spain; Rotterdam, Netherlands; and Livorno, Italy. The laboratories in Spain and Italy support the production of each of our blending facilities, thereby enabling a quick and eﬃcient response to our customers’ needs. Our laboratory in Rotterdam is managed by the Group’s CTO and although it specializes in new product development, its proximity to large quantities of our products that are stored in Rotterdam, it also assures a better control and timely reaction to quality issues that may arise.
